On October 10, 2012, the ceremony to award Young excellent entrpreneur 2012 prize was held at White Palace Conferrence Center, - 194 Hoang Van Thu, ward 9, Phu Nhuan district, Ho Chi Minh City. Mr. Luong Tri Thin - The Chairperson of the Executive Board cum General Director of Dat Xanh Group (DXG) was one of the 9 entrepreneurs celebrated.

The prize Young excellent entrpreneur 2012 was given to 9 entrepreuneurs under 45 years, meet the standards such as: adhere to regulations and fulfill obligations to the state, run business effectively for 03 consecutive years, provide adequate benefits for their employees, particiate in social and charity activities.
This prize is given twice a year to celebrate, acknowledge the accomplishments from unrelenting effort of the entrepreneurs that have remarkable contribution to the economic development of the city and the whole country. The prize is a motivation that encourages entrepreneurs to make investment, develop their busines, create more employments while the economy is still facing many difficulties and challenges.
The prize was first given in 2000 by the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, which has contributed to changing the awareness of the roles of entrepreneurs in the society, form a new image of young excellent entrepreneurs. It has been 12 years ever since and 59 people have been celebrated.

The 7th Young excellent entrepreneur is run from June 22 to August 15, 2012, and has caught interest from a number of entrepreneurs in the city. 4 evaluation councils with leading reputable experts have been established to inspect at the site and make separate reports on each candidate. A highlight of this year is that the evaluation is again participted by independent audit company Grant Thornton, which reflects the concern of the Ministry of Finance about the reliability, equality, and value of this prize.
The ceremony to award the prize Young excellent entrepreneur of Ho Chi Minh City 2012 is also an important actiity of the Associaion of Young Entrepreneurs of Ho Chi Minh City in order to celebrate new entrepreneurs on the Day of Vietnam’s entrepreneurs October 13.
