Sao Vang Dat Viet 2013, one of the most prestigious and expected prizes among the community of Vietnamese companies, was awarded to 200 typical companies and trademarks. At 9:00 on September 02, 2013, the ceremony to award Sao Vang Dat Viet 2013 prize was held at National Conference Center in Hanoi. At the ceremony, Dat Xanh Group (ticker symbol DXG - HOSE) was given this prize for the third time in a row from the Central Committee of Young Entrepreneur Association.
The ceremony was also attended by members of Poliburo, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Deputy Chair of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Secretary of Central Comitte of the Communist Party Ha Thi Khiet, Chief of Central Diplomacy Council Hoang Binh Quan; Deputy Chair cum Secretary General of Central Committee of Vietnamese Fatherland Front Vu Trong Kim, Chair of Social Issue Committee of the National Assembly Truong Thi Mai, and representatives of other Ministries, governing bodies, and local authorities.

Ceremony to award “Sao Vang Dat Viet” 2013 prize
Up to now, DXG has been operated for 10 years and achived laudable success. Within the past five years (from 2008 to 2012), total asset value of DXT had increased by 167%, owner’s capital by 513%, revenue by 1,310%, ROA and ROE indicators are always at a good level. Especially in 2012, ROA reached 9.3% and ROE 12.3%.
Over the first 6 months of 2013, DXG earned a consolidated revenue of VND 187 billion, which increased by 45% compared to the first 6 months of 2012. Consolidated post-tax profit is VND 20.5 billon, which increased by 156% compared to last year. Earning per share (EPS) of DXG up to now is 468 dong/share.

This prize is given to the Vietnamese businesses and trade marks that can be compared and compete with foreign products, throguh which Vietnamese businesses are encourged to pay attention to developing the competitiveness in the course of international integration. Sao Vand Dat Viet prize also praise Vietnam’s values, raise the awareness of youngsters, yound entrepreuneurs in particualar, and Vietnamese entrepreneurs in general in the course of industrialization and modernization as well as international integration.
The organizers revealed that 200 Sao Vang Dat Viet 2013 prizes have generated a revenue 734 thousand billion Vietnam dong, a total asset avlue of 1,845 thousand billion Vietnam dong, a profit of more than 71 thousand billion Vietnam dong, paid 56 thousand billion Vietnam dong in tax and created more than 466 vacancies. This is also the highest level over the past 10 years of this prize.
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc asserts that the government always enable Vietnamese companies and young entrepreneurs to develop and contribute to the development of Vietnam.
