In pursuit of the City's direction of promoting swimming in pre-teenagers, contributing to their health improvement and comprehensive education under drowning prevention program for children. This also aims to train children's will and physical capitality through the competition. On August 8th morning, Binh Thanh district's Labor Confederation opened Pre-teenagers Swimming Championship, Summer 2016 at Lido Swimming Pool - 290 No Trang Long, Ward 12, Binh Thanh District.
About 80 athletes from 30 grassroots trade unions and Gifted Swimmer Team of the district's Labor Confederation participated in the championship. Athletes were divided into three age groups: 8 to 10 years old, 11 to 13 years old and 14 to 15 years old. Each group has 2 events for males and females: 25m / 50m freestyle and breastroke.
Dat Xanh's delegation at the contest consists of 5 athletes participating in: 25m breastroke, 8-10 year old female (1 athlete); freestyle, 8-10 year old male (3 athletes) and 50m freestyle, 11-13 year old male (1 athlete).
In order to motivate the athletes of the championship, the Executive Committee of Dat Xanh Real estate service and construction company's grassroots trade union sent their sentiment and encouragement along with a gift of VND200,000 for each. Expressing his feelings about this act of caring, athlete Pham Tran Anh Khoa, Mr. Pham Ngoc Hieu's son (Construction Inspection) said: “I am very grateful to Dat Xanh, my Big Family who cares so much about me. I will try my best to win the prize for our Family”.

For the parents who are Dat Xanh's staff, after stressful days at work, this is one of the opportunities for them spend time with and care for their children thereby strenngthen the bonds between family members. For instance, Mr. Le Duong Khoa (Assistant Director of Dat Xanh Group), athlete Le Ky Anh's parent, shared “My whole family came to encourage Ky Anh so he knows that he is never alone, his family always gets his back whenever he goes”.
Participating in this contest, Dat Xanh delegation's main goal is not only victories but also creating a healthy and supportive environment for Dat Xanh's staff and their kids. Giving the children an opportunity to meet with and get to know new friends so they can constantly improve themselves.
